The World Owl Trust is an owl conservation charity based at Muncaster Castle, Nr Ravenglass, Cumbria. The Trust not only carries out valuable conservation and awareness work in the UK, it also funds projects in other countries to ensure the survival of threatened species of owl. The Trust was founded by Tony Warburton who, never afraid to be cheekily outspoken in his views about owls and their conservation, is an honest conservationist (and naturalist) as well as being a real gentleman, friend and an inspiration to many people.
