THE WEBSITE OF BRITISH OWL SPECIALIST & SPEAKER IAN McGUIRE

wild owl logo

I have given over 1000 talks for all types of groups and am a highly popular speaker with audiences. In over 15 years of visiting clubs and charities I have given presentations as far North as Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides to Dorset in the South of England.

My talks are not only fascinating and feature superb photographs (where applicable) but my entertaining and energetic style is infectious and has been a major part of my success as a speaker.

After a 2 year rest 2017 sees me ‘back the road’ and my diary is now open to bookings again.

I am also excited to also announce some brand new presentations including one on the fabulous Short-eared Owl, which I have spent many years studying and also a wonderful talk about how I’ve attracted a huge range of wildlife species into the Wild Owl garden here in Yate. My popular Conservation of British Owls’ talk has always been a firm favourite and has been re-worked for 2017.

Please see the notes at the foot of this page regarding bookings and conditions.

Ian McGuire is a hugely popular wildlife speaker and has given over 1000 talks over nearly 20 years to RSPB groups, Wildlife Trusts, Womens Institutes and community groups in the West of England
