My talks and activities for children’s groups are similar to the school presentations.

Powerpoint talks are delivered using a laptop computer with MS Powerpoint and projected onto a large 1.8mtr  screen using a high quality XGA projector, offering superb visuals, essential for talks with a high amount of high resolution photography.

All shows display many fascinating photographs, and a live, tame owl is brought to meet the children at each visit.

The aim of these services is to entertain children while engaging them in thinking about owls as wild birds and becoming aware of how special they are and some of the things they need to help them survive in our countryside.

Children’s Powerpoint Owl Shows - A choice of shows depending on age group,  each is approximately  25 - 40 minutes in length and designed to give a summary of owls and their lives in a single presentation. These entertaining Powerpoint presentations features a barn owl story for younger children or a more general talk for 7yrs+ with many pictures of owls, lots of humour and  fully interactive, with the children involved with the speaker throughout the session. In both types of talk there are many opportunities to answer simple questions and for the older children, a chance to vote with farmyard noises in the ‘What Owl Am I?’ Quiz.
I am an experienced children’s speaker and offer an entertaining range of talks
