Bracken the long-eared owl
Welcome to a page especially dedicated to my owls, Jaz the tawny owl, Bracken the long-eared owl and Misty the barn owl.

These birds are like ‘family’ to me, and having raised each one from a chick, I am very fond of all of them.

I am often asked who is my favourite, and the answer to that has to be Jaz, because he is the nicest owl in the world!

I only have owls because they are a valuable aid to my educational work - they are not pets, and I firmly believe that no-one should keep owls unless they have a good reason to have one.

My owls are happiest when they are at home
Tawny owls can be noisy in the autumn and winter, so indoor facilities for Jaz are essential to keep the neighbours happy!
If I am in with Jaz, Misty just cannot resist the temptation to peak round the corner and see what we are up to!
