Wild Owl - educating on the conservation of British owls

Meet an owl is a great gift idea for owl fans of all ages, and an ideal birtday surprise for young children who care about wildlife.

I will come to your home and present an owl conservation slide show on a laptop computer, telling you and your family all about the conservation of British owls and all the work that is being done to help their conservation.

You will then meet a tame British owl and will have an opportunity to hold the owl and your friends and family can take as many pictures as they like of you and the owl. For children, I will send on a memento of the visit in the form of a special owl certificate featuring Jaz & Misty, my owls.

The cost for owl visits is £50 plus minimum travel fee (July ‘08)   Contact me for details.

Important notes on 'meet an Owl' bookings.

• Owls cannot be house trained so it is recommended that carpets and furniture is covered to avoid damage.
• Please ensure any dogs or cats are kept secured away from the owl.
• You will be able to hold the owl but I'm afraid that stroking or touching is not permitted.
• It is recommended that you wear long-sleeved clothing when holding the owl.
• Please ensure that the environment is quiet to avoid any distress to the bird.

Please note that I am unable to bring an owl into environments that compromise's it's wellbeing or safety.
