Wild Owl - educating on the conservation of British owls
Key Stage 2 Educational Owl Talks For Schools

As well as schools, this talk is also ideal for community groups such as Cubs and Brownies as well as children’s community groups.

General talks are approximately 35 - 40 minutes in length and are designed to give a summary of owls and their lives in a single presentation. Ideal for the main hall, they can be shortened to suit the needs of individual schools.

Owl talks for schools

This illustrated presentation is formulated to keep age 7 - 11yr old children engaged with the speaker, whilst learning lots about the owls that live in the British countryside. Delivered in a light-hearted, but sensitive style, the children are encouraged to interact with the speaker throughout the show, answering simple questions about where owls live, what they eat, how they hunt and survive etc

At the end of the show, the children are introduced to a live, tame British owl, leaving a memorable imprint on the visit, and ensuring they grow up to appreciate the conservation of these amazing birds.
