Wild Owl - educating on the conservation of British owls
Key Stage 1 & 2 Educational Owl Talks

This popular presentation for schools is an entertaining look at owls that live in our countryside. The illustrated talk is aimed at a wide age group (4 - 11yrs) and introduces the British species, where they nest, what they eat and how they locate their prey.

The talk finishes with a short quiz called "What Owl am I?" where the children are encouraged to guess what owl babies will grow up to become, using farmyard noise to vote.

At the end of the show, the children are introduces to a live British owl so that they can see how amazing they are and why we need to conserve them.

General talks are approximately 35 - 40 minutes in length and are designed to give a summary of owls and their lives in a single presentation. Ideal for the main hall, they can be shortened to suit the needs of individual schools.

This presentation is suitable for a whole school sitting, at assembly or otherwise.
