Wild Owl - educating on the conservation of British owls
Wild Owl - educating on the conservation of British owls

Photography: As a keen photographer, I have a wide selection of photographs that have accumulated over the years. I use professional Canon equipment, and often push my gear to it’s limits to capture action shots of some of our most dynamic birds of prey.

Having captive British owls gives me a very valuable facility, where I can not only take portrait shots to show off their features or imitate natural behaviour, but most importantly to illustrate an educational message for my conservation talks and resources. Pictures using captive birds are marked with a © in the title.

However, I’m not that lazy, and also enjoy going out into the wild to track down and photograph wild birds!
